My CoDrone EDU controller won't start up anymore. The screen is blank, and there's only a blue power light. What should I do?

You may experience an issue where your controller screen is blank, the power button is blue, and the controller is unresponsive.

This is a known issue with our early batch of controllers. The issue seems to occur most often when the controller has AA batteries in it while it's plugged into the computer, and then it's powered off. As of October 2022, we've found a solution for preventing the controller from getting into this state in our latest batches of controllers.

If your controller has already gotten into this state, there's no way to rectify it. Get in touch with us—we want to replace it for you! Reach out to us at support@robolink.com with an image of the controller in this state and we'll help get you started. We are happy to replace them for you free of charge.

If you're not sure whether you have the fixed controller, check for part circled in red as shown below. That means your controller is the new version where the issue is fixed.
