News 8 San Diego reporter Shannon Handy takes us inside the West Aerial Drone Championships at Balboa Park's Activity Center — where middle and high schoolers from across the western US (and as far as American Samoa and Canada) came to compete in the Aerial Drone Competition.

Two new events featuring drones are coming to the Wabash Valley. Teacher and robotics coach Carol McDonald says events like this get students out of the classroom to learn in new ways.
